Vocational Education & Training (VET) @ ACD

These courses are designed to help you:

  • Deepen your relationship with God,

  • Expand your knowledge of the Bible

  • Equip you for ministry in the church and community

  • Develop your leadership and communication skills 

 

ACD staff are passionate about offering specialised and practical study which equips students for Christian ministry!  provide options to study across states, institutions and qualification levels.

You may study full time for 1 year or part-time over 2 years.

Certificate III

Application Fee: $100.00

Unit fee: $230.00 (per unit)

Total Course fees: $1840.00

Diploma

Application Fee: $100.00

Unit fee: $550.00

Total Course fees: $5600.00 (10 units at $550.00 each, plus $100.00 application fee)

 

Scholarships

RH White Scholarship fund (UCLT only).

Scholarships are available to residents of South Australia due to the generosity of the RH White Scholarship fund.  These are granted one unit at a time, with the exception of students in the Intern Cohort. Subsequent scholarships may be be offered upon successful completion of previous units. To apply please select 'Scholarship - Apply' on the online Enrolment form.

Admission Requirements

Successful completion of year 12 or equivalent (e.g. completion of Cert III or work/ life experience). If the student has not completed year 12, they will be required to complete a pre-entry admissions test. In order to engage in this course it is expected that you are an active committed member of a church congregation where you have opportunity to serve and lead. 

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Some people already have skills and knowledge gained from life experience, work history, community involvement and other training or study that may allow them to apply for RPL for specific units within this course.

RPL is a process whereby the student must demonstrate that they have knowledge and skills that match the competencies and elements in the unit of study.  This requires the student to collect a variety of forms of evidence and to pay a fee to have their application assessed. Prior to applying you need to contact the VET Coordinator  - jsanders@unitingcollege.edu.au to discuss your eligibility for RPL.
