Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology (10742NAT)
The 2020 Orientation Day will be held on Tuesday, 28 January from 9:30am - 3:00pm.
This course is designed to help you:
Deepen your relationship with God,
Expand your knowledge of the Bible
Equip you for ministry in the church and community
Develop your leadership and communication skills
Our Lecturers in the Uniting College of Leadership and Theology are trained and experienced in Ministry and Theology. This award is issued by Adelaide College of Divinity.
The course is made up of a total of 9 units.
You may study full time for 1 year or part-time over 2 years.
You can study either online or on campus.

This course also provides a foundation qualification for pastors in the Uniting Church. Four of the units within this certificate are prerequisites for the Lay Preacher Accreditation.

There is a $100.00 application fee that is payable at the time of application submission. Units are $420. Total cost is $3,880.
Scholarships are available to residents of South Australia due to the generosity of the RH White Scholarship fund. You may apply for a scholarship a unit at a time, further scholarships may be granted upon completion of the previous unit. To apply please select 'Scholarship - Apply' on the online Admission and Enrolment form
Successful completion of year 12 or equivalent (e.g. completion of Cert III or work/ life experience). If the student has not completed year 12, they will be required to complete a pre-entry admissions test. In order to engage in this course it is expected that you are an active committed member of a church congregation where you have opportunity to serve and lead.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Some people already have skills and knowledge gained from life experience, work history, community involvement and other training or study that may allow them to apply for RPL for specific units within this course.
RPL is a process whereby the student must demonstrate that they have knowledge and skills that match the competencies and elements in the unit of study. This requires the student to collect a variety of forms of evidence and to pay a fee to have their application assessed. Prior to applying you need to contact the VET Coordinator - firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your eligibility for RPL.
