Our Lecturers in the Uniting College of Leadership and Theology are trained and experienced in Ministry and Theology. This award is issued by Adelaide College of Divinity.
The course is made up of a total of 9 units.There are 6 core units and 3 Electives.
You may study full time for 1 year or part-time over 2 years.
You can study either online or on campus.

This course also provides a foundation qualification for pastors in the Uniting Church. Four of the units within this certificate are prerequisites for the Lay Preacher Accreditation.

What mode suits me best?
On Campus units are delivered at the Uniting College Campus located at 312 Sir Donald Bradman Drive Brooklyn Park on Thursdays 9.30am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 4.30pm.

Each unit is $430. Total cost is $3,870.
Scholarships are available to residents of South Australia due to the generosity of the RH White Scholarship fund. You may apply for a scholarship a unit at a time, further scholarships may be granted upon completion of the previous unit. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Some people already have skills and knowledge gained from life experience, work history, community involvement and other training or study that may allow them to apply for RPL for specific units within this course.
RPL is a process whereby the student must demonstrate that they have knowledge and skills that match the competencies and elements in the unit of study. This requires the student to collect a variety of forms of evidence and to pay a fee to have their application assessed. Prior to applying you need to contact the VET Coordinator - email@example.com to discuss your eligibility for RPL.
