Bumper booksale

Come along to what may be our biggest book sale! We have received about 80 boxes of new donations so there will be plenty for you to browse. Areas include religious and theological subjects, Biblical theology, commentaries, pastoral care, history, liturgy, worship, biography, spirituality and prayer, sociology, philosophy of religion, Christology, God, Liberation & feminist theologies, ethics, social justice, Hebrew & Greek, fiction. Books will be $1, $2 or $5.

Enter the library from the carpark at the rear of the Uniting College / Adelaide College of Divinity campus.

Associate Librarian position

The ATL welcomes ANA GRIEVE to the position of Associate Librarian. Ana started with us on Friday 24th February, and will be working Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday each week.

Change to opening hours

The library opening hours have been changed to Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm (closed weekends and public holidays). Our catalogue and electronic resources are always available from our website.

Associate Librarian position

The ATL is seeking to appoint an Associate Librarian (0.6 FTE) to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Wendy Davis. For further information, please refer to the Job and Person Specification. Additional information is available from the Library on 08 8416 8416 or

Temporary change to opening hours

The library opening hours have been temporarily changed to Monday – Thursday, 10.00am – 4.00pm (closed Fridays, weekends and public holidays). We aim to resume opening on Fridays as well once Wendy’s replacement has been appointed. Our electronic resources are always available.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year from ATL staff

Rosemary, Wendy and Hayley wish you all a Merry Christmas.  Wendy is retiring on 16th December, but Rosemary and Hayley look forward to seeing you all in the new year.

Donations and Book sales

Owing to the pending refurbishment of the campus and moving of the library, we are unable to accept donations for book sales after Friday 16th December 2016.

Thank you for your support and contributions over the years.  We hope to have one more book sale in March 2017.

Living Libraries featuring Kairos Prison Ministry

ATL’s “Living Libraries” program promotes learning from human resources.

Scott and Jean Hutchinson have been involved since the inception of Kairos in SA, in 2001 – that’s 15 years.  They have both been team members on about 10 Mobilong Kairos programs, and currently are on the team for the Kairos “Torch” program in the Adelaide Youth Training Centre (in October).

Bring your lunch, hear about Scott and Jean’s experiences and join the discussion.
