Higher Education 2020

Important Information

The Australian Government has announced a six-month exemption from the FEE-HELP Loan Fee for undergraduate students between April and September.   Students who access a FEE-HELP loan to undertake a unit with a census date that occurs between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020, will not be charged the 25% Loan Fee.


All undergraduate units that are delivered by a provider approved for FEE-HELP and with a census date between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020 will receive the Loan fee exemption. 


    per 4.5 credit point unit  –   $ 1,880.00

1 EFTSL 36 Credit points  –   $ 15,040.00


    per 4.5 credit point unit   –    $ 2,285.00    

1 EFTSL 36 Credit points   –   $ 18,280.00

Semester 2 - 31st August

Vocational Education 2020

Certificate III

Fees and Unit details for the Certificate III will be made available in late 2020.

Certificate IV

Application Fee: $100.00

Unit fee: $420.00

Total course fees: $3880.00 (9 units at $420.00 each, plus $100.00 application fee)

Diploma (VET)

Application Fee: $100.00

Unit fee: $550.00

Total Course fees: $5600.00 (10 units at $550.00 each, plus $100.00 application fee)

Students may choose to study individual units as non-award students.


Auditing a unit of study is available.

The Audit Fee enables attendance at classes with no written work being done or assessed.


Audit Enrolment for all Higher Education Units   -  $ 350.00

Audit Enrolment for all VET Units                       -  $ 150.00    

Fee Help

FEE-HELP is a Commonwealth Government loan scheme for higher education students which is available to Australian citizens and residents with permanent resident humanitarian visas. Under this scheme students enrolling in all ACD Higher Education Courses can apply for a Fee-Help loan to pay their tuition fees.

Austudy (for those over 25 years of age) or Youth Allowance (16-24 years, means tested) may be available.

Students normally are required to enrol in at least 75% of the normal full-time workload.

Further information on Austudy and Youth Allowance see your nearest Centrelink office. Students receiving Austudy or Youth Allowance should notify Centrelink if their enrolment falls below a full-time load in any semester.
