The Adelaide Theological Library is pleased to announce the appointment of HAYLEY EYERS as Library Technician.
11.1.10 Position available - Library Technician
LIBRARY TECHNICIAN (0.5 FTE)
The Adelaide Theological Library supports the teaching and research of the Adelaide College of Divinity, a consortium of theological colleges representing Anglican, Catholic and Uniting Church traditions. The ATL is affiliated with the Flinders University Library. Library services are provided to faculty, staff, students and the wider church community.
The ATL seeks to employ a Library Technician (0.5 FTE) who is accountable to the Librarian. The position is offered at Higher Education Officer Level 4 with a salary of $44,891 pro rata per annum.

The Digital Karl Barth library.
In association with the Theologischer Verlag Zürich (TVZ) and Princeton Theological Seminary, Alexander Street Press is pleased to offer the first major online collection of Karl Barth's works. Combining comprehensiveness with a carefully crafted set of text-analysis tools, The Digital Karl Barth Library will support a new generation of research into the works of one of the twentieth century's most influential theologians.
The current release features the English translation of Barth's magnum opus, The Church Dogmatics, in its entirety. The original German version, Die kirchliche Dogmatik, is also included as are the first 36 volumes of Barth's Gesamtausgabe, which includes hundreds of letters, sermons, lectures, conversations, and academic writings. These volumes are supplemented by seven additional German works that have not yet been published as part of the Gesamtausgabe and English translations of thirteen important texts by Barth. New content will be added on a quarterly basis.

The Digital Library of the Catholic Reformation
A uniquely exhaustive resource for historians, theologians, political scientists, and sociologists studying the religious and social upheavals of the 16th and 17th centuries, the Digital Library of the Catholic Reformation gives researchers immediate, Web-based access to an extensive range of seminal works from the Reformation and post-Reformation eras.
The collection currently includes 552 titles. With new content uploads occurring on a regular basis, the database offers a constantly growing treasury of theological writings, biblical commentaries, confessional documents, and polemical treatises written by more than 300 Catholic authors.

A uniquely exhaustive resource for historians, theologians, political scientists, and sociologists studying the religious and social upheavals of the 16th and 17th centuries, the Digital Library of Classic Protestant Texts gives researchers immediate, Web-based access to an extensive range of seminal works from the Reformation and post-Reformation eras.

30.5.08 ARI and AULOTS online
ARI (Australasian Religion Index) is now available online.
ARI is an author and subject index covering over eighty religious and theological serials published in Australia or New Zealand and representing all religious traditions. Related areas of study such as history and sociology are also covered.
ARI indexes articles, notes and book reviews in religious studies, theology and related fields in the humanities and social sciences.
ARI is indexed and edited by members of ANZTLA Ltd.

AULOTS (Australasian Union List of Serials In Theological Collections)
AULOTS is a database of the serials holdings of theological and religious libraries in Australia and New Zealand. At the time of its loading onto the ANZTLA website, it contained existing holdings for 5256 serial titles held in 96 libraries.
Several editions of AULOTS were produced in hardcopy - the most recent being the 4th edition which was published in 2002. The data from the 4th edition formed the basis of the current online database. Contributing libraries are in the process of bringing their holdings statements up to date to accurately reflect their current collections.
AULOTS can be searched by serial title and entries provide links to both library holding statements and contact details.
