Periodicals and Journals at Adelaide Theological Library

Paper Copies
Adelaide Theological Library currently subscribes to about 230 periodical titles, dealing with biblical, pastoral and theological topics. Most of these are listed on the Voyager Catalogue and each is assigned a call number according to the subject area covered.

Indexes to Periodicals and Journals
Individual articles published in journals and periodicals or edited collections are not listed on the Voyager catalogue. To find if and where articles have been published, it is necessary to use a periodicals index. Indexes do not provide the full text of an article--you still have to locate this in the appropriate periodical or book

ATL has a number of indexes in electronic format (see Research Databases)

Paper Abstracts
New Testament Abstractsindexes new Testament periodicals, and gives a brief summary of each article's argument. NTAis shelved in the Reference collection.

The Research Databases make many indexes and periodicals available via the Internet. You will need to be a member of the Adelaide Theological Library to access these.
