Document Delivery

Books and articles not held by the Adelaide Theological Library or the Flinders University Libraries may be obtained from other sources.
 

For Flinders University Staff and Postgraduate Students

Flinders University Document Delivery Unit is able to provide an online request service. Staff of the University (including ACD staff with Flinders academic status), PhD, Masters, Honours, Graduate Diploma and Graduate Degree students may register and submit requests.

For ACD Staff and Postgraduate Students

The Adelaide Theological Library will request document deliveries on receipt of a completed copyright declaration. ACD staff, and post-graduate students of the Adelaide College Divinity are each entitled to 15 document delivery loans per year (subject to some cost restrictions.)

For Undergraduate Students of the ACD and Community Members

The Adelaide Theological Library will request document deliveries on receipt of a completed copyright declaration only from libraries outside South Australia and on payment of the standard inter-library loan fee.
 

For Other Libraries

ATL will lend most items from the collection, however journals and some special collections' volumes are not available for loan. The items in the ATL collection that are accessible via the National Union Catalogue may be identified by the NUC symbol: SFU: ATL
Requesting libraries using Libraries Australia Document Delivery are directed to Flinders University Document Delivery Service via the procedures outlined at www.lib.flinders.edu.au/services/docdel/others.html

Please note that copyright provisions must be observed and compliance to Section 50 of the Australian Copyright Act must be stated on a request. In particular, the Australian copyright law prohibits photocopying more than one article from the same issue of a journal, unless they are on exactly the same topic.
