*EFTSL: Equivalent Full Time Student Load. This means the topic load that is equivalent to a full time study over one year.
**Units per topic of study: The ACD Master of Ministry, Bachelor of Ministry and Associate Degree of Ministry comprise topics of study with unit values of 1, 3, 4.5, 6 or 12 units.
All Higher Education course fees are to be paid up front to the ACD office.

Auditing a topic involves attending classes with no written work being done or assessed.

FEE-HELP

FEE-HELP is a Commonwealth Government loan scheme for higher education students which is available to Australian citizens and residents with permanent resident humanitarian visas. Under this scheme students enrolling in the Bachelor of Ministry or Master of Ministry can obtain a loan to pay the tuition fees for these courses. The loan is paid back gradually thorough the Australian Tax Office when the income of the person taking out the loan reaches a certain threshold.

The census date is the last day to withdraw without incurring a FEE-HELP debt for that topic of study. Census dates in 2007 are:

Is Austudy Available?

Austudy (for those over 25 years of age) or Youth Allowance (16-24 years, means tested) may be available for certificate, diploma and bachelor study. Students normally are required to enrol in least 75% of the normal full-time work load.

Further information on Austudy and Youth Allowance may be obtained from your nearest Centrelink office. Students receiving Austudy or Youth Allowance should notify Centrelink if their enrolment falls below a full-time load in any semester.
